An Afternoon With Artist Peter Davis

Artist Peter Davis Talks To The Society About His Art And Inspiration.

Talking Contemporary Social Realism And How He's Inspired By Edward Hopper.

"Painting The Zeitgeist". It was a wonderful afternoon talk at The Brampton Museum with Artist Peter Davis, a prize-winning social realist painter who explores contemporary life through portraiture and urban landscape paintings. Beyond viewing his wonderful artworks, we also got insight into what and who inspire him. His love of Edward Hopper, and the influence Hopper has had and continues to have on Peter's work. His artworks capture street scenes, including people passing by and the interplay between them and their surroundings. A wonderful time was had by all and we hope to see more of his work in the future. Thank you for the inspiration going forward, I'm sure Mr Hopper would be proud.
