Your Membership

The SSA has two types of membership: A Full Membership and a Friend Membership.

• Full members receive all society updates, may display their artwork in society exhibitions, attend painting days, talks, and demonstrations, and can vote.
• Friends receive society updates and may attend painting days, talks, and demonstrations, but cannot display artwork in society exhibitions or vote.

Full Membership costs £40 per year, payable after your application has been accepted following adjudication. The annual renewal date is 1st January each year. Friend Membership costs £20 per year.

Adjudications usually take place three or four times a year, depending on the quantity of applications.
